Nylon Coated Galvanized Cable is a strong, general purpose wire rope that is commonly used in rigging, pulleys, and other heavy-duty applications.
- 7×19: 7 strands composed of 19 filler wires provide this cable with strength and flexibility.
The coating on this wire rope provides additional resistance to abrasion and friction as well as protection from corrosion, UV, water, and debris. This protective layer of high density nylon adds to the longevity of the cable, offering greater durability than PVC – suitable for more demanding applications. It resists cracking and peeling from high-friction pulleys while under load. Always inspect for cracked or brittle coating, frayed wires, or abrasions. Replace your cable if any damage is noticed.
