Improved plow steel. Right hand, regular lay. Hot dipped galvanized finish.
Meets federal specification RR-W-410 (as revised).
7/16 inch 6×19 class IWRC galvanized wire rope is a classification of cable often referred to as 6×25 class. Galvanized wire rope is more corrosion resistant than a similar size non-galvanized cable, but with a lower breaking strength. Usually around 10%. This general purpose cable is long lasting in an outdoor environment.

Only use compatible rated fittings with this cable(clips, thimbles, shackles, etc.). Strict breaking-in procedure & proper handling during use are extremely important. Inspect carefully & diligently. Wire rope must be inspected before & after use by a competent person(s).

Galvanized Wire Rope MUST be taken out of service if:
- Broken Strands or Defects
- Kinked or Crushed Strands
- Milked or Bird Caged Deformities
- Chemical or Heat Damage

- Keep rope from physical abuse, weather, and corrosive materials.
- Avoid cable from any foreign contaminants.
- Do not kink, bend or twist.
- Never drag or drop.
