Description
Skydog’s aircraft cable is manufactured with a Hot Dipped Galvanized finish.
Galvanized Aircraft Cable, often referred to as GAC, is a strong and flexible general-purpose wire rope with moderate corrosion resistance. Pre-formed during manufacturing ensures cable will not fray from cutting (with appropriate wire rope cutters). Common uses for GAC include securing cargo, pulleys and winches, stage rigging, zip lines, garage doors, and a variety of other heavy-duty applications.
- 7×7 is composed of 7 strands each containing 7 filler wires.
- 7×19 is composed of 7 strands each containing 19 filler wires.
Our cable is available cut to any length by the foot. Add the total length you need and we will ship out one continuous cable. If multiple cuts / lengths are necessary, specify in the checkout notes.
Galvanized Wire is also available wrapped with a vinyl coating or a nylon coating for added protection.
