Button Stops are a fast and easy way to swage cable with the proper tool. They can be used to secure and prevent Wire Rope from fraying under application. Properly swaged button stops have a termination efficiency of 33-50%.

Aluminum button stops are NOT recommended for use with stainless steel cable. This will cause a chemical reaction called electrolysis corrosion. Copper is ideal for use with stainless steel.
