9/16 inch 6×26 Swaged Wire Rope (IWRC Bright)

Also known as compacted wire rope, 9/16 inch 6×26 Swaged Wire Rope contains 6 outer strands with 26 wires per strand. Featuring higher strength & excellent abrasion & crushing resistance compared to a similar cable of the same diameter. A smooth outer exterior improves sheave wear & snags. However, a swaged wire rope will have less bending fatigue resistance.

This cable is the preferred choice in the logging industry. It is extremely durable & easy to spool on drums & sheaves. Comes heavy lubed, with grease extended throughout the entire strands in manufacturing.
