Features shock absorption properties similar to nylon and a higher tensile strength than either nylon or polyester, this 5/8″ x 2400 ft. cable pulling rope offers even balance and excellent resistance to abrasion, sunlight and most common chemicals. Professional hand-spliced eye at both ends.
DIELECTRIC MATERIAL PERMITTIVITY
Tests performed by an independent laboratory to ASTM F1701-96 (5 minutes at 100 KVAC) confirm these cable pulling ropes exhibit good resistance to electric conductivity when in a NEW and DRY condition. However, rope fouled with dirt, moisture, absorbed water or other contaminants will greatly increase the potential for electrical conduction. WARNING: Use great caution when exposing these ropes to live current, particularly when wet.
